1928 Chevrolet AB tourer
This car was literally a barn find. It was in a lean too on the side of an old barn.
Surprisingly it ran and drove but that was where the good news ended. The body on this car was barely touched leaving it in its original state.
The engine was completely gone through and all what could loosely termed brakes. The starter motor and water pump needed to be rebuilt all the floors and seat backs had to be replaced. 90% of the small amount of wiring was replaced.
A turn key ignition was installed for ease of use but done in a way trying to keep the period look correct. New metal plates were made to go around all the new rubber housings on all the pedals and any other controls that came through the floor.
This was one of the most original AB Chevrolet cars I have seen and that was the way the owner wanted to keep its appearance.
