1926 Model T Ford.

This car is a testament to previous owners. This car was imported into Australia 15-20 years ago and has been well maintained. There were of course many issues that had to be resolved in getting this 95 years old car back to where it could once again grace the roads for a slow Sunday afternoon drive in the country.

It needed to have all the fuel system removed and thoroughly cleaned and the tank lined. The interior needed to be freshened up. All the wheels were repainted, and front and rear indicators added for a touch of safety.

With the radiator repaired and the water pump rebuilt and all new hoses for the cooling system. The front valance had been a home built job at some time in its past so that was replaced and painted to suit the car. New spark plugs were installed along with the changing the car to 12 volts from the original 6 volts.

That leaves us with only a small amount of work to complete on this car. It needs a few new gaskets and seals a full oil change and all fluids replaced.

Once this is done then we will be ready for a slow trip around the local area to make sure there is no more issues and then it will be ready for the spring / summer show season.
